Message Queuing with C# and .NET
    C#Today
Message based communication has been around for a long time now. Entire software, and even hardware architectures are built using this paradigm. Windows itself is built on message passing; everything in Windows is a message. Traditionally, messages have tended to be synchronous and real-time, where the caller and callee work together, hand in hand. However, there is another message based paradigm which works on the queuing up of messages that get processed over time. IBM supports this via its MQSeries solution, and Microsoft via MSMQ. In this article, we look into the support that the .NET framework provides for interacting with MSMQ.
