I am trying to test basic authentication, but having no luck. When I configure a virtual directory to use basic authentication, then open the page in IE, it pops up the password dialog as expected. However, it does not accept the username and password as valid. I am giving it the username and password I used to log in to the machine, so I know it is valid. I also created a user on the local machin...
