Hi guys, Since i installed Visual Studio.NET on my machine (which previously had Visual Studio 6), i'm having problems with my applications that use ADO connections. I get the message: Method 'Open' of object ' Connection' failed Can anyone out there please help? IOB

Unicode Chinese characters - other users? (33 replies)

I'm doing a C# winform app that displays a few Chinese characters on labels and in richtextboxes. Straight Unicode stuff that VS.NET does very nicely. Works fine here on XP Pro (U.S.), but I just sent it to someone for review, and he saw were "squares" where the characters were supposed to be. He's also using XP Pro (U.S). So, what to do? How can I ensure that the end users can see the Chinese cha...
