I need to send HTML e-mail.
The only issue is that it is a branded page, and contains the same
'look&feel' as the rest of the site - which are created with
user-controls. It has already been created as news.aspx

How do I package and send the HTML of this page via System.Web.Mail:
MailMessage objMailMessage = new MailMessage();

Rubric,

    The easiest way that I can think to do this would be to scrape the page
into a string, a la Steve Smith's
http://www.aspalliance.com/stevesmith/articles/netscrape.asp and send it as
the body of the mail.

You would use the BodyFormat propertyy of the MailMessage class:

objMailMessage.BodyFormat = MailFormat.HTML
