WML and the right soft key

When I create a list of links, .NET automatically takes the first link and
creates the "accept" or left softkey label, and takes the next link and
creates the "options" or right softkey label for phones with two soft keys.
How can I override this behavior? I want absolute control of the right
softkey so users can quickly get back to the main menu or logoff. Does
anyone have the answer?

Thanks, Dan

Dan,

I do not know if this question was answered offline for you.. But in case it
was not, I just wanted to make you aware of escalation guidelines for
getting your question answered:

Step 1. Send it again and preface subject line with : NOT ANSWERED BEFORE +
old subject line. You can do that whenever a couple of hours passes and your
question is ignored or answered incompletely.

Step 2.If that doesn't work, then join and send the question to
[aspngescalate] @
http://www.learnasp.com/aspfriends/aspngescalate.asp

But that is a very strict list and the list rules are explained here.

Dan,

If you want to change this behavior, you'll need to change the device
configuration in machine.config. Edit the file, and where you see the
phrase

    numberOfSoftkeys =3D ${softkeys}

substitute it with

    numberOfSoftkeys =3D 1

Now, MMIT will only recognize and use the first softkey. You can then
use a ContentTemplate with the following WML to map the second key=20

    <do type=3D"options"><go href=3D"..." /></do>

Of course, you could always just have the second command on the page be
the command you want. :)
