Is it possible to open a SQL Server database in Microsoft Access? I find the
design tools are far superior to those of SQL Server... Anyone know how to
do this?

THANX!

It is very easy to *link* to SQL Server tables in Access, is this what =
you're referring to?

Actually all i want to do in access is create and manage the relationships
of the database... thats all. I hate the SQL server GUI for data diagrams.
It is WRETCHED. Are you able to edit relationships of a SQL server database
in access?

I'm fairly sure that you cannot. Sorry :(

If you don't like the GUI, I'm sure you can do
whatever it that you're trying to do programmatically
if that's of any consolation to you.

If you have Access2000 or XP you can create a project. This will then
connect to a SQL server database. You can then design stored procedures,
create diagrams etc.

Look for Project (Existing data) under File->New.
