Hi! All,

I ask from many developer worldwide.

But unfortunately nobody give the satisfactory reply.

I wonder if we can convert the SVG into GIF.

As we are capable to generate the SVG Graphics using XML in our magical Dot Net.

I am looking for some component or any logic you guys/gals have in your mind?

Take Care,

Mudassir

Mohammed,

for all I know, SVG is a vector graphics format, while gif is
raster, therefore
to perform conversion you should develop a way to capture rendered SVG image
and encode
it into gif. It's a good piece of work, but if you accept the challenge and
come across
a solution, would you care to let us know?

    Greetings,

            Ed.

It might be interesting to see if a conversion between SVG files and
metafiles is possible. Likely you could create your own conversion tool
without too much problem, thought it might be a lot of work.

What seems to be the cleanest solution to me, is to obtain the W3C SVG
format specs and use the system.drawing classes to actually draw a raster
image in memory & directly emit it as a JPG or GIF to the client.

This may be a lot of work, but would make a very interesting project and
would produce something really useful in many aspects (I'm tempted to do it,
but unfortunately no time).

The specs, existing code and many books on SVG are available here:
