How do you get intellisense for client side scripting to work?

You should still get the JScript.NET documentation even if you only
install the SDK.

I'll double check with our documentation team to see if it's at a
different location in the tree or something.

I don't know what to say. I'm running beta 2 and the documentation for
JScript.NET is pretty full. Do you have Visual Studio.NET Beta 2 install
(not just the framework)?

If you have a .js file, or an HTML file with <script> in it, it should
work.

It does work with the client and .NET server side stuff. After I posted
this the other day I shut down the app and it worked when I re-opened.
However when working in classic asp you only get intellisense and color
coding if you put the code into <script> blocks. The page directive <%@
Language=3D"Jscript" %> doesn't work (color coding for VBScript, no
Jscript object support. NOTE: this doesn't affect the run-time at all
just inside of VS.NET).
