Here is the scenario:
I am working with Webforms but I don't think that matters here because the
question is about client side DHTML code. I have a form where in the click
event of a button the following code executes

function btnShowDlg_onclick() {
window.open(url, name, features, replace)
}

I the 2nd IE windows that pops up displays a list box of data. I want to
return the users selection back to the first instance of the browser.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

MessageUse "window.opener.document" to access the DOM of the 1st Window
(opener) from the 2nd Window (popup).

Ex: window.opener.document.openerFormName.someHiddenField.value document.popupFormName.listboxName.options[selectedIndexValue].value;
Cheers,
Siva Jawaji
