Nowadays I'm working in ASP-3, and i want to start

ASP.NET, so can u help me.... and what is the minimum requirement to run ASP.NET and C# Programe on my

comupter. Is ther any webserver is required for this ??

I have

windows - 98

VS-6, MS-Sql-7,Orecle-8, etc.

Next, what i'll have to install on computer.

Hi Prashant

get hold of the dot.net cd's and they will install your missing components
before installing runtime environment.

Be careful, i had to blow away my system after first installation.

Reinstall everything from scratch and had no problems since

Prashant,

I would suggest you begin your ASP.NET journey by heading over to
http://www.asp.net to get the required software. After successfully
installing all this wonderful new software, I recommend you spend some time
at http://docs.aspng.com/quickstart/aspplus/default.htm. The QuickStart
examples are pretty good but you will often find that you need more
information to perform a particular task. I recommend you check out the
following sites for in-depth tutorials and examples:

You would need Win2k server and .net sdk. Refer to the
site asp.net for complete details.
