Tengo una maquina con windows XP le instale Visual Studio .Net beta 2 y =
cuando trato de correr la aplicacion me da un mensaje como que expiro, lei =
en la documentacion y hablan de correr el service pack 2 para window 2000 =
pero en XP da el error que el sistema operativo es disntinto o no es el =
correcto con versiones 2000.

Que puedo hacer?

Lo que te esta pasando es que has instalado la version de la Beta 2 que
tiene fecha de expiracion 30 de agosto.
Tenes 2 caminos: cambia la fecha de la maquina a 1 de junio del 2001
o conseguir la ultima version de la beta 2, desinstala la que tienes e
instala la nueva.
