first of all , thanks to all of you for the valuable
info presented in these lists.
now , onto my problem :
there is an Oracle DB , NLS are Russian , and I
need to connect it tp an ASP.NET page.
All of the data in the database is in cyrillic ,
and because of it I have a problem displaying it on
the web page .
With ASP , there is nothing wrong , I choose
Cyrillic from the encoding menu (or set the Codepage
property to 1251) and the text is readable.
But with ASP.net , I just can't get it to show me the
cyrillic letters ( even though the codepage is set to
1251) .
Here's the relation between the characer sets on teh
ASP and ASP.NET page.
.ASP page, Western European Encoding = .ASPX page,
UTF
.ASP page , cyrillic encoding -> correct characters
displayed.
.ASPX page , cyrillic encoding -> bs characters
displayed

If anyone of you guys can help mi with this, I would
appreciate it a lot .

Vlatko

Have you tried (Serbian - Cyrillic):
<%@ Page Culture="sr-SP" CodePage="3098" LCID="3098" %>
