Hi all,
I'm trying to evaluate SQL Server CE for .NET development. In this case I
run into several errors all the time .
e.g. I can create a Database (Engine.CreateDatabase()) in the emulator, but
I can't on my iPaq, I can not create an instance of severale classes
(SqlCeError, SqlCeDataReader etc.), every remote action (Pull, Push or
SubmitSql run into errors....
My first target is to use RemoteDataAccess and replication.
I think I properly installed all the server environment (Relay Proxy, IIS,
ISAPI dll, SQL-Server CE).
I can call the ISAPI dll via browser and get the appropriate result
("Body"). But when I start any remote operation or replication I always run
into several errors.

By the way, wasn't there some weeks ago a question about exception
handling?? I only get the name of the calling method as Exception.message. I
can remember that I had to supply a certain "error - dll" for more specific
error messages!? Unfortunately I can not find this thread anymore (or was it
somewhere else??).

It doesn't make sense to send any source code (it is very simple..), because
I think it is an configuration problem.
Or is it just because we work with an beta version??? Usually those MS-betas
work already very proper.

Any ideas??

Thanks

Best regards

Steffen

Steffen,

If you have not received a private reply to this question, here are the
escalation guidelines to get your questions answered:

Escalation Guidelines for Getting your Questions Answered
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 1. Send it again and preface subject line with : NOT ANSWERED BEFORE +
old subject line. You can do that whenever a couple of hours passes and your
question is ignored or answered incompletely.

Step 2.If that doesn't work, then join and send the question to
[aspngescalate] @
http://www.learnasp.com/aspfriends/aspngescalate.asp

But that is a very strict list and the list rules are explained here.
