Accessing Page object from static method

I have a namespace containing several control classes and a class with a static method shared between the different controls, like so:

namespace xyz
{

class abc
{
static internal MyStaticMethod()
{
//Use Page object here
}
}

class control1 : control
class control2 : control
class control3 : control
}

From the static method I want to have access to the Page object, so I can call the Trace log and Application Cache. Is there any way to do so without having to pass the Page object to the static method? Now I'm sure it's better design not to do any of this, and just make the method independent, but it reduces the need to replicate code that I need in the (related) controls. To avoid any problems, the method is marked with 'internal' so only the controls have access to it.

You don't need to get to the page you need to get to the current http
context. The http context exposes everything session, cache,
application.

Try this

System.Web.HttpContext context = System.Web.HttpContext.Current

If(context == null)

{

throw new ApplicationException("Must run in IIS context");

}
