Greg Quinn
Hi,

When trying to write the contents of a dataset into an XML file, I get the
following error...

Access to the path "C:\Program Files\mydir\XML-from-dataset.xml" is denied.

What kind of permissions do I need to set up for my virtual directory? I am
running windows 2000.

I have given both the IUSER_ and the ASPNET accounts anonymous access, and
write permissions to the folder as well...

Greg

Use this code to see what user context the code is running under:

<%@Import Namespace="System.Security.Principal"%>
<script language="VB" runat="server">
Sub Page_Load(Src as Object, E as EventArgs)
Response.Write(WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent().Name)
End Sub
</script>
