Hi all,
Can someone tell me about the Javascript/JScript's usage?. I am using C# in
ASP.NET to develop a web application.
Do i need to use JScript to make this application browser independent?.
Your feedback will help me to develop application properly,

Regards,
Venkat

Venkat,

You don't have to use client-side Javascript to achieve browser
independence; in fact, the more client script you use, the more likely your
application is to break in certain browsers.
The C# that you are using is all on the server side; the web browser will
only see the HTML that it generates. There are certain cases where some of
the more complex ASP.NET objects will actually generate some client-side
script, but these would have to be addressed on a case-by-case basis since
every situation is different.

Regards,

Peter
