Howdy howdy.

This has to be a simple question and I'm just missing something. I've
created a web application project in VS.Net. I want to create a new ASPX
page in a subdirectory of the project's root.

so, in http://site/, I want my aspx page in
http://site/thisfolder/newpage.aspx.

When I "Add new item", it never gives me an option of a subdirectory. It
puts whatever page I create at the root of the project.

How do I add new aspx pages to a subdirectory of my project.

Thansk.

Tim

Hi,

Just right click on the folder where you want the file to be savedto and =
then use the "Add.." command from the pop up list.

Best regards,

Tim,

Using the Solution Explorer, create the folder first. You can do this
by right-clicking on the project node, then Add / New Folder from the
context menu.

Then, add your web form by right clicking on the new folder, and
selecting Add / Add Web Form.
