Greetings!

I have this irksome little complaint about VS.NET. If I've been dragging and
dropping lots of textboxes and such in Design view and at the moment I have
one of those textboxes selected so I can see its properties, I'd like to be
able to switch to HTML view and have the cursor positioned in the tag for
that textbos. Right now, when I switch to HTML, I get a cursor either at the
very top or very bottom of the screen and then I have to read through all the
HTML to find the tag I'm working on. I looked for a preference to set or a
short-cut key to use, but I can't what I want. What's the trick to doing
this?

Hello Tim,

VS.NET does not have this feature. However, it's definitely on our list
of things to look at doing in future versions. Thanks for giving us
your feedback.

You could always use Dreamweaver (4 or MX) as an external editor for HTML
editing, it has this feature, and also a nice split design-code view. Also
it hasn't chewed up asp.net code so far.
