Hi,

I want to deploy a ASPX page with a crystal report on it. The server only
has the .NET Framework on it. I placed all the Crystal Report DLLs in the
GAC, so now it can find them, however I still get the error:

[NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an
object.]

Any ideas? What else do I need to do/install? I shouldn't have to install
VS.NET just to view crystal reports, do I?

Hello,

No, but I had the same problem before. You should create a Setup =
Package to include your project, and add the Crystal Runtime to this =
package...

Also don't forget to give aspnet user rights to the Crystal viewer
directory. Something like C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio
.NET\Crystal Reports\Viewers . For a listing of some of these issues, =
you

for
a listing of the files you need to install.
