Hi All,

I want to attach a confirmation dialog with a delete link in the datagrid.

<ItemTemplate>
<asp:LinkButton id="cmdDel" Text="Delete" CommandName="Delete"
Runat="server"></asp:LinkButton>
</ItemTemplate>
<EditItemTemplate>
<asp:LinkButton id="cmdDel2" Text="Delete" CommandName="Delete"
Runat="server">/asp:LinkButton>
</EditItemTemplate>

I did it using the ItemDataBound event of the datagrid.
        lnkDelete = (LinkButton)e.Item.FindControl("cmdDel");
        lnkDelete.Attributes.Add("OnClick","return getconfirm();");

However when edit is clicked, I am not able to access the Delete link
(cmdDel2) button.
    I think this is becuase Edit event is trigger before
EditItemTemplate is activated.

Anybody knows how to access a control from EditItemTemplate programatically
?
