Has anyone out there done MS certification tests? Can you give me any
advice on how to prepare? I don't want to pay a forture for some crap
course. I want to buy a book or two and get some practice exams.

I'm planning on doing exam 70-305 VB.NET web applications which MS say
will be released next month.

I am on the process of doing my MCAD on .NET and that is made up of three
exams SQL Server 2000 exam which I am taking next month then VB.NET Web
apps and XML Web Services which I haven't booked yet. My company paid for
this and all I got is 5 books, CDs, a mentor to help me if I am stuck and
so I am doing the self study. I could give book names if you are
interested (though they are at home and I am at work d'oh!)

I am still waiting to hear from the training company about my study plans
and preparations for the .NET part of the course.

One thing I would like to ask is that I have only been out of uni for 2
years and get paid quite low (I am in UK) so how will this MCAD help me in
the terms of pay?
