Working through the portal application I see that several of the modeles are
controls ascx and some are pages, aspx - Why, what's the difference and when
should I use one rather than another - is there an article on this.
Is there source code for the milestones page available

To create a module (i.e. can be plugged anywhere into the portal) it must be
a UserControl (that inherits from the portal's UserControl).

The pages that exists are usually there to support the modules (beside the
admin pages and default pages). Usually they are the "edit" pages of a
module. So, when ever you click "edit" of a module it takes to you to the
edit "page" for that module. But the module itself is (and must) be a
UserControl.

HTHs,
Brian
