Hi,

I have a CR report with a ODBC data source, it works fine on my development
pc, but after I publish it to our intranet, it shows 'logon failed' error.
So I checked previous posts discussing logon problem( Eric and Wolfgang),
then add logo code to my script, now it shows 'logon failed' error on my
development pc.

I solve this problem by remove logon code , but add a System ODBC setting on
our intranet server. Now it works fine in both machine.
I just feel puzzled that previous version of the report works fine even
without ODBC setting on our intranet server. After I add one more table to
the report, above situation happens.

Sorry, I am fairly new to crystal report design, do I miss something?

Much thanks
Domina

Domina,

I've been using Crystal Reports 7 and 8.5 for over 3 years on my standard
ASP servers, no problem.

I'm puzzled too by the mess Crystal Decisions has created for ASP.NET.

Try changing the logon info from server name to DSN name. It worked for me.

Wolfgang
