Hi,

I have a web control that inherits from DataGrid. As far as I know,
everything works fine. Except for one thing. In Visual Studio, when
displaying the HTML, I get problems with inner tags, such as Columns,
TemplateColumn etc. The problem is twofold: 1) I don't get any =
intellisense
when I'm to key in these tags. 2) Once keyed in, the tags are =
underlined (by
little red waves) due to that "the active schema does not support the
element". Does anybody know a way to solve this small but annoying =
problem?

TIA,

Anders Vikstr=F6m

Anders,

Statement completion in Vs.NET is (unfortunately) schema-driven -- not =
based on reflection -- so the fact that your control derives from =
DataGrid doesn't buy you anything. You can paste this topic into your =
vs help address window to learn more:

Let me amend this to be perfectly clear: statement completion for the =
HTML window *only* is schema-driven... it is refection based in the code =
window.
