I hope I'm not violating any rules by posting this to multiple places.

One of the great things about the new VS implementation is the new pinnable,
"fly-out" panel. The examples I am thinking about are the Server Explorer and
Toolbox on the left or the Solution Explorer and Properties on the right. If
pinned, they remain in sight; if unpinned, they fly out of sight. Hovering on
the appropriate tab causes them to open up again.

This behavior is ideal for an application I am working on. I'm looking for a VS
Windows Form control that exhibits such behavior and haven't been able to find
one so far.

Does such a control exist or will I have to implement one; or, has someone else
implemented one?

Gary,

I too looked high and low for an example on how to achieve this, and from
what I found, this "feature" is more associated with an API than it is a
control.

Unfortunately tough I don't recall the (long path!!!) of MSDN documents
that I searched to find this information.
