Hi all,

I try to migrate an application ASP to ASP.NET(C#).

This application get data from a SAGE database located on a server. I
test my ODBC connection everything work fine, and in ASP no problem.
But in ASP.NET I've got the following error :
ERROR [S1000] [Simba][Simba ODBC Driver][CBase]Erreur inconnue ! ERROR
[IM006] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr
failed ERROR [01000] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] The driver
doesn't support the version of ODBC behavior that the application
requested (see SQLSetEnvAttr).

After web search, I think it's user rights problem. So I changed the
machine.config file to put in "impersonate". I also changed the
"processModel" to put user on SYSTEM. But nothing change and I've also
got this error.

Someone can help me please ??

Try upgrading to MDAC 2.7 or higher - that sorted out some probs for us with
the Sage ODBC driver

I have mdac 2.8 and SAGE ODBC DRIVER 11.01

I can access my database with excel or with my ASP application. It is
only with ASP.NET that it dosen't work :(

Hi,

We have the same problem using the ODBC drivers to connect to
Intersystems Cache database

One solution we found was to give the user admin rights on the PC
running IIS.
The ODBC connection then works fine, no errors!

Doesn't anyone know why this would be?
What privilages is the admin account giving that allows the driver to
connect?

Hope this helps, if we find anything else I'll post it
