VS hangs whenever I attempt to run an application with debugging (F5 or Run to Cursor). The appliction compiles without errors and I can run WITHOUT debugging (Ctrl-F5), but not WITH debugging. Does anyone have any clues as to why this is happening and what I can do about it?

After working with MS tech support, it was determined that the solution was to uninstall IIS and reinstall it. Something had gotten corrupted when I installed IIS so I could debug ASP.NET locally. Cleaning it out and re-installing did the trick

Can you post the code or what kind of project you're working on?

The type of project doesn't matter - it could be a "New" project containing a single assignment line.

Check that the debug manager service is running. I accidentally turned mine
off, and then I couldn't debug.
