Can a listbox display more that one item in the DisplayMember
value?

i'm afraid not no. You could always create the value you want to display in
the sql statement and then set the DisplayMember to that field

What are you wanting to achieve other than just displaying more than one
item? If it's so you can store for example the id and name of a record then
you can set the displaymember to the name field and the valuemember to the id
field

hope this helps

Suppose your datatable include two fields "Code"
and "Description":

With lstBox
.DataTextField = "Description"
.DataValueField = "Code"
.DataSource = DataTable1 (your datatable)
.DataBind()
End With
