Hi,

I get an error on this in Visual Basic .NET. I searched the help file but
could not find an answer. I can't even find this type "Dim strRdBuffer As
String * 1024" construction in VB6. Particularly the "* 1024". I know I
declare a stringbuffer of 1 K but thats all.

Take a look at the 'StringBuilder' class, the 'VBFixedStringAttribute'
class, and the 'StrDup' method (or the 'String' class' constructors).
