I've just started using visual studio.net 2003 and whereas before in uni I
was able to create asp files successfully now this version is asking for a
http host. It tells me to install IIS which does not appear under the install
windows compontents of the control panel. Can anyone help me thanks.....

You need to install Internet Information Server (IIS) on your PC using your
OS CD (Win 200 Pro or Win XP Pro) then follow the steps in Knowledgebase
Article 306005 to establish proper mapping between Visual Studio and IIS.
IIS is not installed by default when you install Win XP Pro or Win 2000 Pro.
If your OS is XP Home, you cannot do the above, as Home does not include
IIS. You'll need to upgrade to Pro.
