Hi .NET experts,
My company has a three tier web application written by
VB.NET.

This application runs fine sometimes. However, it also
freeze 20% of the time.

Now, this is a big concern for us because we have to solve
this issue before goes to production.

Any help will appreciate !

You really have to give us more info - what kind of application is it, when
does it freeze, some code,etc. Try running it in the debugger and when it
freezes, check out the callstack

Hi Sriram,
Thank you so much for your response.
Here are some information for my application:

It is a three tier Web application written by VB.NET.

This project is in the user testing stage. However, the
application sometimes freeze and we cannot release unless
this issue has been solved.

Here is how the application works:
<1>GUI send all the request to Middle tier;

<2> Middle tier then call Store procedure (Oracle is our
database) to retrieve data;

<3> Middle tier store data to a dataset and return either
a single dataset or a collection of datasets(arraylist) to
GUI;

<4> GUI store dataset or arraylist to a session variable
and the session variable will stay until user close the
browser.

<5> The arraylist or single dataset will be passed as
parameter back and forth between the GUI and Middle tier.

I am wondering that is the dataset which stored in session
caused application freeze ?
