Hi,

I have a page to manage master tables in the application. The pages are in the following sequence
The list page is the first page, that lists all the master data entry, along with pagination. The list page has three buttons, Add, Modify & Delete. Clicking on the Add & Modify button brings up the respective aspx page as a pop-up window. Please let me know, how can i call a pop-up window using UIP block

the only way I see it is to start a new task and possibly even a new
navigation graph item...
Passing params would have to go thru either
- UIP State object
- Session object

Parag,
Since popup initiation is happening from the client side, UIP has
no role to play in it. Hence as far as i know you cant achieve it,
unless you go to the server. Even if you try it, the designated page
will not open, but the current page will open up there.

Yes. Because it all happens on a client you should redirect to a "normal"
page (inherited from Page class) that starts a new task using UIPManager.

This way things will work fine. And using this technique, check UIP
documentation chapter 3, Linking tasks. You will have to nest a task.

But I strongly recommend not to open popups. Check the functionality of for
example SPS or CMS... They can do it all inside only one window. Which is a
smart thing to do. Try not to make yourself (you as a developer are on the
server side) too hard time checking what your client does. Make things
easier for youerself.
