Hi All,

Does anybody know whether the ObjectSpaces (an Object Relational Mapping
tool) is included in the Beta 1 of VS 2005 which was recently released? if
not when are they planning on releasing it (atleast a beta) ?

Thanks,
Chamith

If I remember correctly the public announcement, OS won't be a part of
vs.net 2005.
At least at the launch.

The ObjectSpaces effort has been merged with WinFS for a unified object
access story. You can see a official statement here:

objectSpaces was merged with WinFS which is now off the longHorn release
list.

Paul Wilson has an outstanding almoost fully compatible version for 1.1 .Net
on his web site.
this is as close as you are going to see for at least 1-2 years.

www.ormapper.net i use it and it rock on small to medium size projects.

Check it out and good luck I think most of us interested in object
Relational mapping hve given up on microsoft.

Thanks
Martin
