Hi,
I have been facing a out of memory exception with Assembly.CreateInstance, I
am using Assemly.CreateInstance in a asp.net program to instantiate a
particluar class, gradually the memory for aspnet_wp.exe grows...and
ultimately i get out of memory exception at the point:
- Assembly.CreateInstance

Please help me out, You can mail me at: Click here to reveal e-mail address

Since framework 1.1 M$ has a lot of difficulties with the memory
management.in the CLR
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=825680
It has improved slgihtly with SP1 but from time to time you still get
OutOfMemoryExceptions out of the blue. Don't be surprised.
Just sit back and wait for SP7 (or framework 1.7) In the end they will get
it right (I hope)
I have the impression that more than 400MB in the CLR heap makes it very
unstable.

Just to check, you're not doing anything like creating new AppDomains and
loading the assembly into those are you?
