Hi Guys,

I want to debug my application.

If I try clicking start to debug my application i get the following message
in a message box.

" Error while trying to run the project, Unable to start debugging on the
web server. Could not start ASP.NET or ATL Server debugging.
Verify that ASP.NET or ATL Server is correctly installed on the server.
Would you like to disable future attempts to debug ASP.NET pages for this
project. "

Could any one tell me why i am getting this message and how can i avoid
getting this message and be able to debug my application.

The debug attribute is set to "true", but still i get the same message.

Bill Evjen

There might be a few reasons for this:

(1) You already have an instance of the project running in another
browser. Close that instance and try again.

(2) You are working on a remote project and you need to click the
"Refresh" button in the Solution Explorer and try again.

Hi,
Thanks for the advice bill.
1.As you suggested i closed the browser instance.
2.The project is on my local system and my login has the admin priveleges
set.
But still it doesn't work out.
